WELCOME
We are the official XRPL AWESOME POSSUM , we thought we would take the time to tell the crypto community a little bit about the project.
This is a Canadian project from the WestCoast of Canada. We are grateful to be given this opportunity to showcase our AWESOME POSSUM NFT COLLECTABLE on the XRPL. We seen how much love and support their was from the community with other NFT projects, so instead of trying to pick the next big project we thought we would bet on ourselves in hope to become one of the awesome projects out there. We came up with a uniquely X shape outline for the AWESOME POSSUM to show our support for the XRPL. If your a collector your gonna love these collectables. We want to educate as much people as possible about XRPL, XRP, Sologenic, Xumm Wallet.
We know these are the first steps in our great journey on the XRPL. We will grow as the community grows with us.
MEET THE TEAM
JASON GORETSKI
My name is Jason Goretski and I’m the founder of XRPL Awesome Possum.
I got into XRP in late 2019 , and have been trying to figure out how to make a difference and support the XRP community by using the token creator on XUMM since the spring. And then, came up with AWESOME POSSUM. What a way to show your support for the XRPL , then with a NFT that looks like the shape of an X . There are lots of great x projects on the XRPL ,but there’s only one XPOSSUM and truly believe we will become one of the top project to last for years to come .
I knew right away I had to get my brother Chris involved with this project with me. So not only are we the first Canadian NFT project on the XRPL , I think we’re the first brothers working on a XRPL project together. Family has always meant a lot to me and so does my XRP/Possum family. I want all of you be able to count on us no matter what, just like I can rely on my brother/family.
I’ve been a collector my whole life. Hockey/Basketball cards, autographs, stuff like that for years and know a winner when I see it . The Awesome Possum NFT will be one of those collectibles you’ll never want to give up.
CHRIS GORETSKI
Hello, Chris Goretski here and I’m very happy to announce that I will be creating the graphics for Awesome Possum!
I live with my partner Shaunna and three crazy cool cats in beautiful British Columbia. (Victoria, Canada) I have my day job, then I get to go NFT alllll night long!! Sometimes it’s hard sitting at work with all these ideas popping up in my head. I don’t get the chance to expand on them in the moment but I do my best when I get home.
This project is a passion of love. Jason is the biggest XRP fan there is and I’m glad to be his Awesome Possum partner!
I polished off regular school back in 2002 to start my journey in Graphic Design. Now I’m 37 years old with almost 2 decades of experience in this field. I recently worked in silk screening and embroidery on all sorts of apparel for 10+ years. Working with people to find that image that they have in their head is very rewarding and sometimes very difficult. Building logos and images that pop is my passion and I can see myself making some cool pixel possums!
At heart I’m a huge nerd who loves Art and Music. I grew up on Atari and Nintendo so seeing things in block form is always nostalgic for me. There is something about that old style 8-bit look that I love, but some people can only see the squares. I have a “Megaman” tattoo on my neck, who is my biggest role model… Power in diversity!
So… one day Jason came to me talking about this “XRP” and how it’s going to change the world. Before I knew it we were having our first Awesome Possum meeting to make our mark on the XRPL.
There is always something exciting about taking the first steps in to a brave new world. I feel blessed to be part of the XRP community and to leave our legacy behind.
This project has inspired me to greater heights so sit back and enjoy! 😀
